Why we joined

We joined the Caravan and Motorhome Club when we bought our Coachman Acadia 830 in 2022, and it has been one of the best decisions we have made. The combination of access to over 1,200 sites, the Great Savings Guide discounts, and the peace of mind of Club insurance makes membership genuinely excellent value for a family that tours regularly.

Membership Pricing

Direct Debit: £69 per year

Card / Cheque: £79 per year

Membership covers the whole family — all occupants of the touring unit are covered under a single membership.

Site Types

Club Campsites

270+ fully serviced sites across the UK and Europe, owned and operated by the Club. These are the flagship sites — well-maintained, with excellent facilities, and bookable in advance. Hillhead in Devon and Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire are two of our favourites.

Certificated Locations (CLs)

Over 2,500 small, privately owned sites licensed to accept up to 5 caravans at a time. CLs are the hidden gems of the Club network — quiet, often in stunning locations, and frequently on working farms or in private grounds. They are exclusive to Club members. Lickpenny in Derbyshire is a CL we return to every year.

Affiliated Sites

Over 1,600 independently owned and operated sites that offer discounts and benefits to Club members. These vary widely in size and facilities but are vetted by the Club and offer member pricing.

The Great Savings Guide is included with every Club membership and contains hundreds of discounts across attractions, retailers, and services. Highlights include:

• Fuel — savings at selected fuel stations
• Dining — discounts at selected restaurants and cafés

The Guide is updated annually and available digitally and in print. In our experience, the savings on days out alone more than cover the cost of membership in a single trip.
